Sunroom Options
Three season or All Year

2” wall system is the easiest DIY product to build. The room comes in pre panelized wall sections with vinyl framed single side slider windows glazed with double pane glass, available as clear or low-e. The structure is extruded aluminum and the panels are tough vinyl skins over an eps foam core. The roof system consists foam core aluminum skinned panels.
Most experienced DIY’ers can build this room and achieve excellent result by following our instructions and calling me before guessing or cutting if there is a question.
A cad drawing is provided for your approval before ordering and sealed engineering is available if your local building department requires it for obtaining a building permit.
We deliver these rooms directly to your building site. We can deliver up to a couple hundred miles from our location in Newark Delaware.
We also off our 4-season room which consists of structural composite framing, 3” thick foam core walls and low-e insulated vinyl framed windows. This room is one of if not the most energy efficient system sunroom available. While this room builds completely differently than standard wood framing some construction experience is helpful.
Stick framed screen walls are built on site using 1″x2″ and 2″x2″ aluminum extrusions and can be made with an aluminum kick panel or screened floor to ceiling. Extrusions are usually shipped as 24′ or 30′ pieces and you cut them to fit the same as you would with wood framing. The advantages to aluminum are,you usually have smaller cross sectional materials, so your porch feels more open. Damaged screens are easily replaced using the built in spline groove and flat rubber screen spline, no more staples and wooden screen moldings. The painted aluminum finish requires minimum to no maintenance. You are building with screws, most of which are hidden from view. The materials are dimensionally stable with no shrinking, splitting or warping from rain or humidity. Extrusions are available in white, ivory and bronze. Kick panel is .024″ aluminum coil 16″ tall(other heights available) with a smooth or embossed texture.
Roof Systems
Pro-Fab EZ Lok Roof
Pro-Fab EZ Lok roof panels come in 4ft and 2ft widths. Panels consist of a 3 inch thick core of expanded polystyrene (EPS) foam with a textured .024 inch aluminum skin bonded to both sides. Each panel has a male and a female interlock on opposite edges. Panels are available cut to the foot in length. Varying snow loads and wind loads in different locations will affect roof spans. Mid-span beams are available to achieve longer spans or carry heavier snow loads. 6-inch thick roof panels are available as another way to achieve longer spans and accommodate heavier loads or as a way to improve R-value. R-value of the 3″ panel is approximately 12. This roof system is typically used for patio rooms or as an upgrade option in screen rooms or patio covers. Most rooms are built with low pitch (¾ inch/foot) single slope roofs. A gable roof is an option.
Structuroll Plus Each 12 inch wide, 3 inch deep .032″ aluminum roof pan has a flat bottom with 3 pencil ribs and square edges. Pans interlock with each other at the top of the 3″ tall leg. When interlocked and fastened, our roof pans form a flat ceiling. Pans are available in either smooth or embossed finish. Pans are available cut to the foot in length. This roof system is standard for stick framed screen rooms and patio covers. An optional drop-in insulation and cover sheet are available to make an insulated roof with a smooth top.
Roof and Trim Options
Pro-Fab roofs use extruded aluminum fascia and gutters. Skylights that are 2 foot wide and run the length of the roof panels are an option with our 3-inch Pro-Fab roofs. These skylights snap onto the formed edges of the Pro-Fab panels for a watertight seal, they are two layers of honeycomb polycarbonate with an airspace between them for insulation. This skylight is not transparent, meaning you can not look up and see the stars, but is translucent and disperses sunlight in many directions. An internal fan support and wire chase beam is available in either the 2 or 4-ft panels. Structuroll roofs use a roll formed fascia and gutter. Pro-fab roofs use extruded fascia and the three inch thick panels have a extruded gutter. Our standard downspout for either system is 3″x 4″.
Porch Conversions
Convert your porch or install under existing roof
Any of our 2′ windows, single or double glazed sliders, vinyl 4-Track or vinyl sliders and single hung glass are available in custom sizes for fitting in existing porch framing. An even better job results from removing the old wood framing and replacing it with 3″x 3″ structural aluminum posts before fitting windows. The aluminum posts are straighter, cleaner, stronger and maintenance free. We also have fixed transom windows and dead lights in custom shapes and sizes.
